The Junior Development Group is gearing up for the BC Cross Country Championships which will be hosted by our Club and BC Athletics right here in Clearbrook Park on Saturday October 27th. This Provincial-Level meet is an amazing opportunity to see hundreds of runners of all ages and levels of development including some world-class Canadian runners. The high-school age Endurance Running Group athletes are competing at this meet as well. The Royals have a great reputation for excellent volunteer participation in meets that we host. Join the BC Championships Volunteer Team and complete your Volunteer Hours for the year (0r better yet, if you already have been a volunteer–join in and be amazing again!). Volunteers can be athletes, athletes’ parents or other family members and friends. We need at least 20 more volunteer positions filled to help in: The Concession, Finish Line Food Tent, Parking/Greeting, Registration, Course Marshals (pointing the way to runners on the course), Hospitality, First-Aid.
