DO YOU KNOW A PERSON, FAMILY OR BUSINESS WHO COULD BE A SPONSOR FOR THE VALLEY ROYALS? Use this Sponsorship Letter & Sponsorship Levels Package to invite them: 2017 Fall Sponsorship Letter & Sponsorship Packages for Valley Royals Track & Field Club The Deadline for Fall Sponsorship is Friday August 18th
We are very excited to be hosting both the “Valley Royals Grand Prix” 4-Week Racing Series Sept 20th & 27th and Oct 4th & 11th and the “BC Cross Country Championships” on Saturday Oct 28th! Our Fall Sponsorship Packages will include acknowledgement to our Sponsors for all 5 of these meets! Sponsorship Gift Levels include:
$100 Friends of the Club, $250 Bronze, $500 Silver, $1000 Gold (Includes 1 Feather Flag and more!), $5000 Elite (Four Packages Available-Includes Naming Rights to a Specific Age Race each week within the Grand Prix, 2 Feather Flags and more!) and $10,000 Super-Elite (One Package Available-Includes Naming Rights for the 2017 Valley Royals Grand Prix Series, 4 Feather Flags and more!)
100% of the Sponsorship money raised for the club by an athlete’s invitation counts toward the athlete’s Fundraising Expectation for the year. Athletes also get a Fundraising Credit for 50% of the dollar value given to the Club by the Sponsor that the athlete invited (which can be used for paying event entry fees) It only takes one Bronze Level Sponsorship to fulfill the Fundraising Expectation of a full-year membership so invite your friends, family and local businesses to sponsor the Valley Royals for this Fall!
If you have a Sponsor please inform the club via an email to our Treasurer Debbie Foote at [email protected] Questions? Call/Text Debbie at 604-614-4044
The Valley Royals encourages all of our members & families to participate in the “Plan for 200K” city-wide survey (particularly the one for Parks, Recreation & Culture). We would especially appreciate it if our members could ask the City of Abbotsford to build an indoor winter training facility with a rubberized floor — at the end of the survey you get to type your comments in a box. There are many other clubs that are getting their members to advocate for building projects that will help their particular sport so it is important that our members’ voices are included too. The link to the survey for the PRC Masterplan is: http://www.abbotsford.ca/city_hall/plan_for_200K.htm

Got a Skill or Creative Idea that could Benefit the Valley Royals?
All Club Members are welcome to bring their creative ideas to the Board for approval to do a small scale “Benefit” for the club and get personal credit for toward their fundraising requirement. An example of this is the Wright Family’s Sports Tag Benefit for the Club (which works well on a small scale but isn’t big enough to be a club-wide fundraiser). Perhaps you have a talent for Baking or Card Making or maybe you love to do a Lemonade Stand on a hot day. Why not do it as a Benefit for the Valley Royals? The club could help you to get the word out so our members can support your efforts and everyone wins!
To Submit your Benefit Idea email Monica at [email protected]
