Mondays 4:00 pm –  Rotary Stadium ( practice outside )
Wednesdays 4:00 pm – Rotary Stadium ( practice outside )
Fridays 4:00 pm – Rotary Stadium. ( practice outside )
Meet the group at the Valley Royals shed ( Rotary Stadium )  
Practices are rain or shine  (Coach Ziggy will not be cancelling any practices so expect to attend)
Warm clothes mandatory !!!

REGISTRATION UPDATE: Online Registration is now closed. However, Late Registration is available via email to Debbie Foote at [email protected]  OR at the Late Entry Registration Desk, Wednesday 3:00PM near the Finish Line in Clearbrook Park. Late Registration Price is $12 (price includes all of the races in the series) 

Any student in Grades 4- 8 is eligible to compete in the Valley Royals Grand Prix Racing Series held on four consecutive Wednesday afternoons in Clearbrook Park September 19th & 26th and October 3rd & 10th. Athletes run a 1600m (one mile) course and seek to improve their time each week. Prizes are awarded based on points accumulated in all four races.

Join the Grand Prix Volunteer Team & Get Your Volunteer Hours

Athletes! Parents! Grandparents! Aunts, Uncles & Cousins! All are welcome to join the amazing volunteer team that will host the Valley Royals Grand Prix Racing Series for hundreds of students from the Abbotsford & Mission area.

Also be sure to sign in at the registration table for each race that you work to get your VOLUNTEER HOURS! All Royals athletes need to get volunteer hours each year. Hours can be completed by the athlete and/or their family members    https://valleyroyals.ca/volunteer-hours/

Grand Prix Volunteer Info:

Grand Prix Location is – Clearbrook Park – 3680 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC

When – September 19, 26, October 3 & 10  Wednesday afternoons from 3 – 6pm – EXCECPTION: Set Up Crew please arrive at Clearbrook park by 2:00 pm

We are looking for volunteers to confirm if they are able to help in the following key areas:

Concession           – (it will be stocked, you will just have to sell the items, help with set up and take down of the tent / tables) – 2/3 people

First Aid                 – Do you have your level 1 or 2 first aid ticket? If so, we need you!

Parking                  – We need strong willed people to monitor the entrance lane to the main parking at Clearbrook park to ensure traffic is not blocked by illegally parked cars – 1 – 2 people

Set Up                    – if you are able to arrive earlier than 3 pm, please let us know, we need a crew of at least 5-10 people between 2 – 3pm to help with setting up the course.

Rabbits/Turtles    – Do you enjoy running? If so, please let us know. We will need people to lead and sweep all races. Yes… you will get a head start if you lead J 

Marking the course -During the race helping direct and supervise runners

Finish line            – maintaining the order of runners and recording their placements

  1. If you have any Valley Royals gear, please try to wear it to the meet. (red & blue will do – not mandatory – just a nice touch – we have safety vests and volunteer tags available as well).
  2. Please ensure you are prepared for the weather. Bring Water, dress in layers etc.  
  3. Please arrive at Clearbrook park by 3:00 and check in at the volunteer/registration tent at the finish line. (Big tent at finish line)
  4. We ask that All Volunteers please allow time to stay behind after the final race to help with clean up. I expect we should all be done by 5:30/6pm
  5. The more help we have, the better! Please feel free to invite friends, family, neighbors looking for volunteer credits (I believe it’s a high school grad requirement), please have them contact us.  I’m sure we can find a spot for more help. 
  6. If you have helped in previous years and would like to be placed back in that volunteer position please indicate that in your email response.

The Junior Development Group and the Endurance Running Group are getting ready for their first Cross Country Race of the Season…

 The Pinetree Classic Cross Country Racing Event— Saturday September 15, 2018 JD/Midget/Open/Masters Mundy Park, Coquitlam. 

10:00 am 6km Women / 8km Men Open/Masters. Undulating mulch/gravel trails, grass with some blacktop. Not suitable for spikes.

 11:00 am – Noon. JD divisions. Course lengths vary from 2.5k to 4.4k according to age.

Neufeld Farms Frozen Food Fundraiser

Order Deadline: Monday Sept 24th                     Pick Up: Thursday Oct 4th at 5:15 PM at the Clearbrook Park Parking Lot 

Sellers are responsible to pick up and deliver their customer’s orders on Delivery Pick Up Day 

Valley Royals!  Back by popular demand, the Club is doing a Neufeld Farms Fundraiser just in time to stock up for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Neufeld Farms has some new items on their order forms such as new pies and turnovers.  There is also new GLUTEN FREE breaded chicken fingers.  The nutritional info and ingredient list can be found at http://neufeldfarms.ca/ (under fundraiser tab).


We are asking each athlete/family to participate as every order counts to fundraise for our club! Please forward the order forms (links below) to friends and families.

We ask each participant to aim to sell a minimum of 8 items from the Chicken and More fundraiser and 2 items from the Cookie/Pie fundraiser.
