2022 Fee Chart

For many Valley Royals members, annual fees are now due. Members can choose from full year memberships to seasonal registrations, depending on their level of interest and area(s) of focus.

Please review the 2022 fee chart, which includes a small increase in fees from the previous two years to help offset rising expenses. Fees can be paid by etransfer to club administrator Christa McAuley: [email protected] or by cheque. Contact Christa to arrange delivery of fees paid by cheque.

Proud of Valley Royal Halle May!

Valley Royals Distance Athlete Halle May signed her letter of intent this week with University of New Brunswick and will be attending the school with a scholarship in Track and Field and Cross Country. Halle has been a core member of our club for the past four years and has been an example to those athletes who train with her. Halle has shown constant dedication and her positive attitude and work ethic set a tone in the distance group that is contagious.  She has been a pleasure to coach and deserves every bit of the success that she has experienced. All the best on your upcoming season Halle and congratulations on your acceptance to University of New Brunswick.

Royals Excel at BC High School Cross Country Championships

A big congratulations goes out to our Valley Royals Cross Country runners. Yesterday (Nov. 6) at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver, we wrapped up our season with some of the strongest performances of the year.
In the Junior Boys Division, Mark Molina finished 11th, Sam May finished 15th, and Arata Nakanishi finished 31st in a field of 265 runners. In the Junior girls, Adrianna Buitelaar finished 21st in a field of 240, which can only be described as a fantastic result for this grade 8 competitor. Zoe Unger did not have her best race and still finished a very strong 39th!
In the senior division William Burke and Halle May finished strongly with 46th and 51 place finishes respectively. As many of our competitors are not at the top of their age division, we should be ready to start challenging for medal positions at the provincial level over the next 12 months.
A big thank you goes out to all the people who supported our Cross Country runners through the fall.  Well done Royals.

Great athletes are the result of great programs and our board members, parents, volunteers and coaches have all done a fantastic job this fall in developing our athletes. – Coach Scott
