Great Little Coupon Book Fundraiser Winds Up This Week

Athletes are encouraged to finish strong selling Great Little Coupon Books to support the club and earn volunteer hours (4 books sold = 1 volunteer hour). It’s not too late to get in on this fundraiser but orders are due THIS Thursday, October 1st.

Extra coupon book orders will be ready for pick up during the JD practice races 10:30 to 11:30 AM THIS Saturday, October 3rd

Naomi Booth (pictured) is available to take orders and distribute coupon books in the Clearbrook Park parking lot during each Cross Country Practice times this week (4:15-5:15 PM Tues & Thurs and 10:30-11:30 AM Saturday)

Got Questions? Need more books? Can’t make it to the practice times? No problem! Email Naomi at: [email protected] for answers and to arrange book pick up.

FAQs about this fundraiser for participating athletes:

Q • Where & When can I get coupon books to sell?

A • We have a limited number of books available for immediate purchase or you can order additional copies for pick up on Oct 3rd (and afterward). Pick ups can be done at cross country practices at Clearbrook Park on Tues, Thurs or Sat.  Ordering can be done with Naomi Booth via email [email protected]

Q • How do I keep track of sales?

A • Athletes will be given an envelope containing a copy of the book and an order form.  The form will be your record.

Q • What payment methods can customers use?

A • Payments can be made by cash or cheque made payable to the “Valley Royals Track & Field Club”

Q • What’s the deadline for this Fundraiser?

A • This Valley Royals Fundraiser ends Thursday, October 1st, 2020

Q • Where do I return my fundraising earnings and unsold books?

A • All unsold books and payments collected need to be returned to Naomi Booth.

Q • Who can I contact if I have questions?

A • Naomi Booth email: [email protected]

Q • Will I earn Fundraising Credits on profits earned for the club?

A • Normally, the club gives fundraising credits to athletes which they can spend on meet entry fees. However, due to Covid, there’s a lack of meets so entry fees are not needed and volunteer hours are harder to get. Instead, just for 2020, athletes can earn 1 VOLUNTEER HOUR for every $20 IN PROFIT they gain for the club in a fundraiser.

Here’s how this would work for Coupon Book Sales:

The club gets $20 profit on the sale of 4 coupon books ($5 profit on each one)

So selling 4 books = 1 volunteer hour
